The story of Banner Capital Bank

In 1964, we opened our doors under the brilliant blue skies of Harrisburg, Nebraska—a rural farming community in the heart of The Nebraska Panhandle.

One firm handshake at a time, we earned the trust of our customers, allowing us to expand and create new relationships around Nebraska (Alma, Beaver City, Harrisburg, and Kimball) and then into Wyoming (Cheyenne, Guernsey, and Lusk).

In our communities, we take great pride in giving back. In addition to supporting Future Farmers of America (FFA), 4-H, and local events, you’ll also see members of our team making a difference on the Chamber of Commerce, in Rotary International, as part of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited, by coaching youth sports, and through positions on local school boards, church boards, and scholarship committees. To help empower the next generation, we also sponsor financial literacy classes for high-schoolers.

Over the past 60 years, our team has supported farmers and ranchers in expanding their operations and empowered growth-driven business entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality.
